Uptime Robot Monitors From Multiple Locations
A couple of days ago I was talking about how I had started using Uptime Robot, a tool for monitoring websites uptime. Although it is obviously early days yet I have found the service to be excellent thus far and would be more than happy to recommend them to people.
They sent an email out yesterday explaining that they are going to start monitoring your websites from multiple locations - this is really cool and really adds some extra value to the service in my opinion. You can read more about this enhancement on the official Uptime Robot blog.
Tweetminer is now Pluggio
I haven't been using Tweetminer as much as I probably should recently (especially since I bought a paid subscription to it!) but I do like to keep on top of any developments going on with it.
Once such development is that now it will be tying in to other social networks (Facebook, MySpace etc) and as a result the name Tweetminer doesn't really fit.
I think Pluggio is a little 2.0 sounding (and therefore, ridiculous) but that didn't stop me getting addicted to all those other services with cute names or vowels missing.
